Mark Leckie's Art Exhibit at Two Rivers Country Club at Governors Land

Governor's Land resident Mark Leckie is shown hosting a reception in his honor at Two Rivers Country Club where his unique wildlife photography is on display. Upon retirement from Gillette in 2007, he became intrigued by the active wildlife in his backyard running down to the Chickahominy River. Eagles, waterfowl and raptors became his subjects with Mark never tiring of going for the "perfect habitat shot" of certain species. With travels to the Galapagos, Africa, and the Arctic, his subject matter has broadened to include resident creatures of these areas.
The Governor's Land Art Committee selects artists to display in their rotating exhibit approximately every six weeks with the "Childrens' Art Show" scheduled to openJuly 4th followed by Ralph Patterson. For information on artists' receptions and applications you may contact Chairperson Ginger Olansen at
Governor's Land at Two Rivers is a private golf and marina community located at the confluence of the James and Chickahominy Rivers.
