M.D. Express Four Hampton Roads Locations Earn Urgent Care Accreditation

Hampton Roads, Va | November 2017 - M.D. Express has earned Level 2 Urgent Care Center Accreditation with National Urgent Care Center Accreditation. All five M.D. Express Urgent Care Centers in the Hampton Roads area are committed to providing exceptional care and have the same goal of ensuring that their patients' healthcare experience is simple, secure and efficient.

Level 2 Accredited Urgent Care Centers are staffed by a Board Certified family practice or internal medicine physician, independently owned and operated by a non-hospital organization, provide X-ray and imaging services on site, provide occupational medicine services and are in operation 7 days a week with a minimum of 10 hours a day.

About National Urgent Care Center Accreditation
The National Urgent Care Center Accreditation program is an independent, non-profit organization that provides Accreditation to properly qualified urgent care centers throughout the United States. The National Urgent Care Center Accreditation (NUCCA) Program accomplishes the accreditation of urgent care centers by setting standards, measuring performance, and providing consultation and education where needed. Accreditation is ultimately awarded to those urgent care centers that are found to be in compliance with National Urgent Care Center Accreditation Program standards. The National Urgent Care Center Accreditation program is recognized by leading medical organizations to provide such Accreditation.
