FLUTE FRENZY will host engineer and popular flute choir composer Jonathan Cohen in a 10 a.m. lecture workshop, and a 3 p.m. concert. At 10 a.m. Cohen will speak on "How an Engineer Finds Himself in the Music World," followed be a composition workshop. Bring your flute and compose a flute choir piece as a a group under Cohen's guidance. Open to flutists and observers. Cost $10. The created work will be presented during the 3 p.m. concert presented by Flute Frenzy's Fantasia and Prelude choirs. The concert will feature Jonathan Cohen's music. Cohen and his contrabass flute "Tiny" will join the Flute Frenzy choirs. Directed by Margaret Carlson. The concert is free and open to the public. Reception will follow.
