NARFE Williamsburg Chapter Participates in Alzheimer's Walk

The local chapter 685 of the National Active and Retired Federal Employees (NARFE) Association participated in the recent Alzheimer's Walk in Williamsburg.

NARFE is a national "membership" organization, not a union, dedicated to protecting the earned benefits of federal employees and annuitants. NARFE members are significant contributors to Alzheimer's research, raising a total of nearly $12 million dollars to date. This past year, NARFE Virginia chapters raised the most money for Alzheimer's research, among all chapters nationwide. During the last fiscal year Virginia chapters raised over $63,000.

Our local chapter is proud to be part of developing a solution, through research funding, to treat and ultimately prevent Alzheimer's disease.

Our organizational slogan is "NARFE: The 'E' is silent, but we are not." If you are a federal employee or retiree, and are interested in becoming a chapter member, contact jeff.fratter@gmail.com.
