Nashville recording artist and extraordinary entertainer, John Berry, to perform at Donk's on Aug. 1

On Saturday, August 1st, 2015, Donk's Theater, Virginia's Li'l Ole Opry, will present Nashville recording artist, John Berry, singing his hit songs, "Your Love Amazes Me", "Standing on The Edge of Goodbye", "You and Only You", "I Think About it All the Time", "If I had Any Pride at All" and many more. John has had more than 20 hits records on the country music charts since the beginning of his career in music. He earned gold and platinum records and was nominated for a Grammy Award, CMA awards and ACM awards. Described by the Nashville industry as an "awesome vocalist" and "great entertainer", John Berry was born in South Carolina and raised in Georgia. He began playing guitar at the age of 13, performing at the age of 14, and making records by the time he was 19 years old. At 17, he had decided that he would seriously pursue a career in music and soon signed with Capital Records. His stunning performance of "Oh Holy Night" on a Christmas Album led to his most enduring legacy. John Berry has made 18 consecutive Christmas concerts and has recorded four Christmas albums.
John and his family now reside in Nashville and John is pursuing a touring schedule that is more active than ever. He can book a solo show with just himself and a guitar, a small-band acoustic show or a full-band engagement. "I am hopeful and excited about the future. I have a bus and sound and lights, and I'm always all dressed up and ready to go."
The show on August 1st will feature The Opry Regulars, Uncle Jimmy Wickham and the Shades of Country but first half will be limited in order to give John Berry more time on stage. .
