National Garden Club Announces Plans for Convention in Richmond

Recently the Williamsburg Area Council of Garden Clubs hosted the Fall Meeting of the Tidewater District, Virginia Federation of Garden Clubs at the Colonial Heritage Clubhouse. The speakers at the meeting were Amber Floyd and Charlene Wesseler from Fairfield Flowers in Virginia Beach on "Trends and Styles in Floral Design." In attendance were also State officials from the National Garden Club announcing their Convention in May 2017 at the Marriott in Richmond. Pictured left to right are: Loy Holt-Tidewater District President, Janice Clem-Virginia Federation of Garden Clubs President, Judy Binns-National Garden Club Convention Chair, Imkelina Sturm-Virginia Federation of Garden Clubs Convention Co-Chair, Lisa Robinson-National Garden Club Convention Co-Chair, and Val Story-Virginia Federation of Garden Clubs Convention Chair.
