New Technology from James City Court

Contact: Mona A. Foley, Chief Deputy Clerk 757-564-2242
When people need records from the Williamsburg/James City County Circuit
Court, they often need them in a hurry or from a distant location. They can now order
documents like deeds, wills, orders, divorce decree's, etc. online without driving
to the courthouse.
Williamsburg/James City County Circuit Court Clerk Betsy B. Woolridge says is it
now possible to request documents online through an online records service
called Clerke Pass at www.clerkepass.com.
The Williamsburg/James City County Circuit Court is working with ClerkePass to
provide this new service to the public. In the past, a person could request
documents in person or by mailing in a written request. ClerkePass allows a
person to request a document from anywhere in the world and receive it in a
short amount of time in a digital format.
