NO MORE YELLOW HAT USHERS AT WILLIAM AND MARY GAMES

The Kiwanis Club of Colonial Capital (KCCC) has been paid to usher for William and Mary football and basketball games for the past 25 years but that partnership ends with this season. The Club was recently notified that our services would no longer be required as the college has contracted with a commercial firm to provide ushers. Pictured above are some of the Kiwanis ushers just prior to a game last season.

The Club wishes to thank William and Mary for the long relationship which has helped us provide more than $150,000 from our work to local agencies supporting the needs of children in Williamsburg and James City County. The agencies include Colonial CASA, Big Brothers/Big Sisters, Grove Christian Outreach Center, Bacon Street and many others.

KCCC members will miss the interaction that they have enjoyed with the University, and with their football and basketball fans over the years.
