Part One: Architecture: The Church and State in Colonial and Revolutionary Tidewater Virginia

The Tidewater Virginia Historical Society (TVHS) will host the first of a three part lecture series, "The Church and State in Colonial and Revolutionary Tidewater VA" Sunday, October 22, 3:00 p.m. The speaker, Carl Lounsbury, explores construction technology and decorative details that distinguished early churches and meetinghouses by region. Hennage Auditorium of the Art Museums of Colonial Williamsburg (326 Francis St, Williamsburg, VA). Lectures are open to the public and admission is FREE. Please sign in at hospitality desk.
