Nominate your favorite local business in the 2018 Best Of Greater Williamsburg Contest

On Saturday, July 29th, at 10:00 a.m., please join butterfly experts Adrienne Frank and Gary Driscole along with Helen Hamilton for a walk around the Warhill Tract (4725 Stadium Road in Williamsburg) to watch butterflies collecting nectar from native plants. From the meadow of dogbane and pearl crescents, the walk continues around the pond near the stadium with grasses, sedges and skippers. Returning to the parking area, the meadow will be blooming with late summer perennials and native butterflies. This walk is free and open to the public and sponsored by the John Clayton Native Plant Society. Please park in the last area past the WISC center, in front of the community garden. For more information, contact Helen Hamilton at 757-564-4494,
