Presiding Bishop of Episcopal Church to Visit First Baptist Church

Bishop Michael Curry, Presiding Bishop of the Episcopal Church, will visit First Baptist Church on Sunday, March 28, and deliver the sermon during the 11:00 a.m. Morning Worship Service. Bishop Curry, the first African American Presiding Bishop of the Episcopal Church, was scheduled to ring the "Freedom Bell" at First Baptist in 2016 during Black History Month, but an unexpected illness prevented his visit. He met Rev. Reginald Davis, Pastor of First Baptist, and agreed to return this year speak to the entire congregation. First Baptist is located at 727 Scotland Street, Williamsburg. All are welcome.
