Second Lieutenant Patrick W. Diehl has graduated from the US Army's Ranger School at Fort Benning, GA on October 16, 2015. Ranger School is an intense 61-day combat leadership course and is considered to be the toughest combat course in the Army. 2LT Diehl is an armor officer and is assigned to the 1st Infantry Division at Fort Riley, KS. He is a 2014 graduate of the US Military Academy at West Point and a 2010 graduate of Poquoson High School. At Poquoson, Diehl was a standout wrestler and soccer player. While at the Military Academy, he was a grappling champion and a judo All-American. Diehl is the son of COL (Ret) Jim and Elaine Diehl of Williamsburg.
