Rear Admiral Cynthia Thebaud, USN and Captain Michael McMillan, USN Address Williamsburg-Yorktown Council

Rear Admiral Cindy Thebaud, USN, Commander, Expeditionary Strike Group TWO, and Captain Michael McMillan, USN, Commodore of the IWO JIMA Amphibious Ready Group, spoke at a meeting of the Navy League's Williamsburg-Yorktown Council. Admiral Thebaud addressed her responsibilities for mission readiness of all East Coast naval amphibious forces. Captain McMillan reviewed the recent deployment to the Middle East of the IWO JIMA Amphibious Ready Group, including USS IWO JIMA (LHD 7), USS NEW YORK (LPD 21), USS FORT MCHENRY (LSD 43), and the 24th Marine Expeditionary Unit (24 MEU). Accompanying the presenters is Gerry Mauer, Council President.
