Recycled Art Contest

Share your flair for repurposing discarded items, recycling trash into treasures and creating art from what may have been garbage! Get creative and use material that would be destined for the recycling bin or trash can to create unique pieces of art.

ENTRY DATE
Bring your work of art to Earth Day - Dirt Day 2017 Event happening at Waller Mill Park located at 901 Airport Road, Williamsburg, VA 23188 on Saturday, April 22, 2017 by 3:00 pm

ART SPECIFICATIONS
Materials that would have been trash (at least 75 % of the project) or the project must convey the three R's (Reduce, Reuse, Recycle).
Any media will be accepted (painting, digital, photos, textiles, etc.)
The project must not exceed 2ft x 2ft x 3ft.

JUDGING AND AWARDS
Contestants will be judged on the following:
Use of recyclable materials on three R's message
Creativity
Originality

PRIZES
Prizes will be awarded for each age group.
