Respite Volunteers Provide 2500+ Hours Annually

Respite volunteers were recognized at an afternoon reception held at the Williamsburg United Methodist Church. Volunteers add spice to our weekly afternoon social engagement program through music performances, gardening projects, flower arranging, educational programs, pet visits, tai chi, artistic expression, and socializing with our 12 members daily. Some volunteers have served since Respite's inception in 2001, coming weekly to enjoy companionship with our members and assisting staff with activities. Respite provides a gift of time to care partners, and a gift of engagement for their loved ones. For information, call 229-1771 ext 354.
