Diane Hagemann (right), District Governor (DG) of Rotary International for SE Virginia, presented her district's goals and priorities at a recent Rotary Club of Williamsburg's meeting. While discussing these goals, DG Hagemann noted Rotary's important role in eradicating polio around the world with less than 25 endemic cases of polio reported through 10 August 2016. Hagemann also discussed the priorities of the district Rotary, indicating that a major priority is to support local clubs in their efforts within their communities. DG Hagemann presented the new Rotary International's banner for this year depicting the theme "Rotary Serving Humanity" to club president Carol Beers.
