Rutter Requiem to be performed as Maundy Thursday service

The Rutter Requiem will be presented as a Maundy Thursday service at 7 p.m. March 24, in Covenant Hall at Yorkminster Presbyterian Church, Yorktown. The Requiem will be performed by the combined choirs of Yorkminster and Kirkwood Presbyterian churches, with full orchestral accompaniment. The Requiem, a musical setting of sections of the Latin requiem mass, with the addition of some psalms, was composed in 1985 by British composer John Rutter. It is a positive and deeply spiritual message you will want to experience during Holy Week.
