SCALES AND TAILS - On Saturday, July 9th, Catherine Short, nature lover and Virginia Master Naturalist with the Historic Rivers Chapter, will teach children of all ages fascinating facts about reptiles and amphibians. This program, held at the Freedom Park Interpretive Center, will be from 10:00 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. Mrs. Short will explore the differences between reptiles and amphibians and the audience will even be able to enjoy some hands on activities with the creatures visiting that day. This program is free but a $5.00 donation is suggested. Registration is limited to 30 participants and is required for all children's programs at the Williamsburg Botanical Garden.
