The Williamsburg Chapter of the National Society Daughters of the American Revolution was recently the recipient of a generous $500 donation from Senior Advocate LLC, a local company that publishes a regional magazine and hosts a variety of events for Hampton Roads residents age 55 and over. Stephanie Smith, President of Senior Advocate, was a guest at the January DAR meeting. The Daughters expressed their appreciation to Ms. Smith and Senior Advocate and its goal to give back to the community. The donation will be used to support the chapter's current endeavors including the Berkeley Plantation Cemetery Restoration Project and DAR scholarship and awards fund.
