On Saturday, May 14th, local artist Linda Miller will guide children, ages 8-16, as they learn to observe and then draw nature. The program, held at the Williamsburg Botanical Garden (or inside the Freedom Park Interpretive Center should it rain) will be held from 10:00 a.m. until 11:30 and is limited to 15 children. Students will learn how to observe and draw stems, leaves, and flowers from the garden. They will be able to select specimens and then, after drawing them in graphite, use colored pencils or watercolor paint to complete the project. This program is free but a $5.00 donation is suggested. Registration is required for all children's programs at the Williamsburg Botanical Garden. Please register by emailing email@example.com.
