Southeastern Virginia Golden Retriever Rescue, Education and Training

Jane Krom, President of SEVA GRREAT is pleased to announce that Alewerks Brewing Company is holding a fundraising event for SEVA GRREAT (Southeastern Virginia Golden Retriever Rescue, Education and Training) on Sunday, June 25th from 12 noon to 5:00pm.

Alewerks Brewing Company has generously offered to donate a percentage of their sales from that afternoon to SEVA GRREAT.

Monies raised will be used to help cover medical costs for rescued Goldens with major medical needs. Most recently every dog that comes to SEVA GRREAT requires extensive medical care or costly medications to help prepare them for adoption.
• Finn, 4 month old family give-up required surgery to repair a liver shunt.
• Raife, 1 year old family give-up suffered severe wounds from a dog attack at 3 months of age. Raife underwent a complicated surgery to repair skull injuries.
• Sadie is suffering from nerve damage in her rear leg that requires expensive medication to relieve her discomfort.

Clayton Perry will perform from 2:00pm-5:00 pm. The Scottish Pig Food truck will also be on site..

SEVA GRREAT is an all-volunteer nonprofit organization established in 1990 that rescues abandoned and unwanted Goldens Retrievers and places them in approved adoptive homes. Prior to adoption Goldens go through our foster care program where they are evaluated for temperament, physical ability and sociability. During this period they receive all necessary medical treatment and tests: spay/neutering; vaccinations; heartworm and stool testing; deworming (if needed) and microchipping.

Alewerks Brewing Company is located at 197-A Ewell Rd., Williamsburg, VA.
