For the second year in a row, Quirks of Art closed its doors on Black Friday to celebrate a new tradition. Dubbed 'Sparkle Friday', the staff and their sparkle squads spent the day performing random good deeds and surprising people and businesses with gifts, flowers, cookies, coffee, cupcakes and more. They raised $400 in cash donations for Gwendolyn's Wish and Ring Dog Rescue and also collected needed supplies for those organizations as well as Toys for Tots, coats for the needy, and two car loads of food for the 'Feed our Future' backpack program. Nearly 50 small businesses and individuals participated this year...and many more made donations.
