Join the women of the Peninsula Chapter of the Virginia Breast Cancer Foundation as they "Step up to Fashion" and support breast cancer awareness and education.
This year marks the twenty-forth Fashion Show and Luncheon fundraiser hosted by the Peninsula Chapter of the Virginia Breast Cancer Foundation (VBCF). This yearly event raises funds that aid in education and advocacy in the fight to eradicate breast cancer.
The theme for this year's show is Step up to Fashion. Taking place at the Crowne Plaza Hampton Marina Hotel, the event boasts a fashion show, catered lunch, quilt raffle and silent auction featuring valuable goods generously donated by local businesses and supporters. Filled with fun, education, and entertainment, this is an event not be missed.
Stein Mart of Newport News is providing the fashions modeled by members and supporters of the VBCF. The models are a diverse group of women and men modeling fashions that our attendees can purchase locally. Every seat is a front row seat as the models walk through the crowd after exiting the runway. To add to the excitement, returning as this year's emcee is Katie Collett of WAVY/FOX 43.
The fashion show and luncheon will take place on Saturday, April 8, 2017 beginning at 11:30 am. The event typically ends by 2:30pm at which time silent auction winners can pick up their goods.
Tickets, costing $30 each (including plated lunch), can be purchased online at www.vbcf.org/step-up-to-fashion. Please email any additional inquiries to email@example.com.
The Virginia Breast Cancer Foundation is a non-profit organization committed to the eradication of breast cancer through education and advocacy.
