Steven Fletcher donates to Local Authors Project at Williamsburg Regional Library

Local author Steven Q. Fletcher donates a copy of his book "Notes from Underground 2.0" to the Williamsburg Regional Library. Adult Services Librarian Emma Pruss accepts the gift. The plot only loosely corresponds to Fyodor Dostoevsky's original novella "Notes from Underground," although the two-part structure is duplicated. Part I is an erratic monologue, while Part II sees the protagonist pushed out of his habitual online existence and into a physical confrontation. The author received his doctorate in English literature from the University of Virginia. He has spent years in the classroom teaching literature, and is the author of scholarly articles on literature and film. This title will be added to the Local Authors Project collection at the library. For more information about the library's Local Authors Project please call Benjamin Goldberg at 757.259.4042.
