The Williamsburg chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution welcomed speaker Gerald Gaidmore, Director of the Special Collections Research Center at the Swem Library at the College of William and Mary. Mr. Gaidmore spoke of the rich collection of rare material, books and manuscripts from the Revolutionary and Colonial era of United States history that is currently housed at the Swem Library. His previous work also includes serving as archivist at the Library of Virginia and Brown University and as the Director of the Archives and Records Management at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
