The Army Transportation Corps Aviation Association (TCAA) gave its highest honor, The Hall of Fame Award, on July 18th to Colonel (Retired) Arthur Conroy, Jr., a resident of Kingsmill for outstanding performance of duty. Colonel Conroy served his country for 30 years in such garden spots as Korea and Vietnam. A Master Army Aviator, he flew helicopters in combat. He was educated at the Naval Command and General Staff College and the Industrial College of the Armed Forces. He served in the Pentagon on both the Army and JCS staffs. He continues to serve as the Vice President of the Army Transportation Museum Foundation at Fort Eustis.
