Ted and Marie Livesay, formerly of Manhasset, Long Island, celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on March 12th. They currently reside at Kensington Park in Naples, FL and at Kingsmill Resort in Williamsburg, VA. The couple renewed their wedding vows before Bishop Frank Dewane at St. Leo's Catholic Church in Bonita Strings, FL. Ted and Marie were married at West Point, NY where Ted was the head of the Spanish Language Department. They have three children - Kimberly, Mark and Susan and five grandchildren - Melissa, Jessica, Christina, Tommy and Billy.
Marie was a Spanish teacher for 18 years at Manhasset High School, while Ted served over 28 years in the U.S. Army. After retiring, Ted worked for TDK, a Japanese electronics firm, for 18 years. They both are looking forward to their 60th anniversary.
