THE AMERICAN REVOLUTION MUSEUM AT YORKTOWN WAS EXPERIENCED BY ANTIQUE ADVENTURES OF WILLIAMSBURG

The American Revolution Museum at Yorktown, in its impressive new 80,000-square-foot brick building, was toured by Antique Adventures of Williamsburg. The museum exceeded the expectations of the group, with its story of the revolution from the earliest days of discontent to the beginning of our nation told with films and gallery exhibits. Although the Grand Opening Celebration is planned for March 23 - April 4, 2017, it was possible to tour the inside of the building but not the Outdoor Living History area, which has not yet been completed. Since it takes more than a couple of hours to do justice to this historical gem, many of the members, some of which are shown here along with the tour guide, plan to return for a more extensive visit. After the tour the group enjoyed lunch at the Riverwalk Restaurant.
