The "Helping Hands" of the First Baptist Church of Williamsburg

The Pastoral Care Groups 3 and 7 of the First Baptist Church of Williamsburg under the leadership of Deacons Everett and Lestine Anderson came together in a effort to provide a helping hand to those in need of assistance.

The First Baptist Church family packaged 24 family bags, 34 weekends bags for the children, 20 hygiene bags and 4 large boxes of school supplies for homeless children in the Williamsburg- James City County school system.

Matthew 25: 37"Then the righteous will answer him, 'Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you something to drink? 38When did we see you a stranger and invite you in, or needing clothes and clothe you? 39When did we see you sick or in prison and go to visit you?'
40"The King will reply, 'Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me."

These bags were packaged with an abundance of love and hope that it will be felt by every recipient.
