The Holiday Project of The National Capitol Area, AARP and Williamsburg bringing the spirit of Holiday

The Holiday Project of The National Capitol Area, AARP and Williamsburg brought the spirit of Holiday and joyful moments to the residents of Morningside Assisted Living in Williamsburg on December 15, 2015. Each resident was visited; Christmas cards and candy canes were given. Christmas Carols were sung which gave residents an opportunity to interact with the volunteers. The Holiday Project of the National Capitol Area is a licensed Chapter, non-profit, incorporated as a 501(C) (3) and since its inception volunteers have visited over 1.5 million people who are no longer able to live in their own private homes. Coordinator for this event was Mary L. Brett Wright, volunteers who joined her were: Patrina Zellander, Ella Bullock, Judy Haarla, Ann Roots and Tammy Bullock. The picture is showing the volunteers standing between the Director and the Activity Director.
