Easter Musical Blockbuster
Lighthouse Worship Center, with the support of other churches all across the Hampton Roads area, presents the Easter musical extravaganza, "The Living Passover". Lighthouse Worship Center in Hayes, Virginia is located at 4299 George Washington Memorial Highway, which is just across the Coleman Bridge from Yorktown.
This year there will be a total of 7 performances, running from March 18th-26th. Pastor Greg Ashley, who writes and produces the musical every year says, "The Living Passover presents the message of Christ's life from the many different perspectives recorded in the New Testament." The only portion that remains the same each year is the passion element of his triumphant entry, death, burial and resurrection. This year the storyline that precedes the passion is written from the perspective of Lazarus and his sisters. It is a powerful story of the love of Christ to transform and resurrect even the most hopeless of situations. The new characters, costuming, glorious sets and deeply inspiring musical compositions is an exciting part of coming to "The Living Passover" year after year. We believe that God is always doing new and powerful things in the lives of His people, and each year a musical is written to capture and present a powerful word of hope that can only come from Him.
