The Williamsburg Symphonia opens its 32nd season with an orchestral program featuring works by Glinka, Dvořák and Brahms. Performances begin at 8:00 p.m. and are presented at the Kimball Theatre in Merchants Square. The Symphonia is conducted by Music Director Janna Hymes, returning for her 12th year on the podium. There will be four other concerts in the Masterworks series as well as the annual Holiday Pops program on December 5 and 6, a return of Cabaret & Cocktails in January and other musical adventures. A master class is scheduled for October 17 at 2 p.m. at the Kimball Theatre, presented by Masterworks Concert #2 guest soloist Anne Akiko Meyers. Master classes are open to the public.
