The Williamsburg Symphony Orchestra (WSO) League Raises $64,000 for the WSO

The Williamsburg Symphony Orchestra (WSO) League is the volunteer and fundraising partner of the WSO, providing ushers, transportation, and fundraising support throughout the season. Last season's League fundraising efforts -- nine Encore Affairs, the annual Own Your Own Orchestra program, and spring dinner concert fundraiser, A Broadway Bash with Tiffany Haas -- brought in a near record $64,000 to support the WSO's educational and performance programs. The WSO's educational outreach programs -- Instruments for Kids, Meet the Musicians, Instrumental Coaching, and Masterclasses - reach over 7000 students each year. The WSO also brings world renowned guest artists to Williamsburg to perform with our own internationally recognized symphony led by Music Director/Conductor Janna Hymes.
