Carolyn Keurajian, Executive Director of The Williamsburg Symphony Orchestra (WSO), has been elected to serve on a national leadership team of the League of American Orchestras (LAO). Keurajian will serve a two-year term as Secretary of the group, which represents all Size 5 & 6 Orchestras in the U.S. The League divides orchestras into five groups based on their annual budgets, with Group 1 being the largest and Group 7 & 8 being the smallest. The other Executive Directors elected to represent Group 5 & 6 include Daniel Sene, Paducah Symphony Orchestra, Mary M. Briggs, Hilton Head Symphony Orchestra, Sara Mummey, Lafayette Symphony Orchestra and David N. Whitehill, Ashville Symphony Orchestra.
