Toano Garden Club celebrated 50th Anniversary

The Toano Garden Club celebrated their 50th Anniversary with a tea June 2nd at the Norge Community Hall. The club supports projects of the Williamsburg Area Council of Garden Clubs, Tidewater District, VFGC, and the Virginia Federation of Garden Clubs. Community beautification projects include planting a dogwood tree at Toano Fire Department and cleaning James City Chapel cemetery. Members participated in a Memorial Day Service at the cemetery and donated a decorated wreath to honor veterans buried there.
