Tradeoffs in educational funding discussed at Rotary meeting by state Senate Majority Leader Tommy Norment

This week's speaker was honorary member Tommy Norment, who provided the James City Rotary Club, meeting at Kingsmill, with his annual General Assembly update and state of the Commonwealth. Senator Norment has served in the Virginia Senate for twenty years. He is the Majority Leader and member of the Courts of Justice, Finance, Rehabilitation and Social Services, Rules, and Commerce and Labor Committees. Tommy carries Rotary's advocacy for education to our state government and is a proponent of higher education, working to ensure that Virginia's public colleges and universities remain at the top of the national rankings.
