Unitarian Universalists Hear Jazz and Democracy

This Sunday, Williamsburg Unitarian Universalists will hear interim minister Rev. David Johnson equate "Jazz and the Spirit of Democracy", an appreciation of the democratic spirit of jazz, and the sometimes harmonious, sometimes discordant search for truth and meaning. Duke Ellington said that "Jazz is a good barometer of freedom." This wisdom will be typified by incorporating piano and choral jazz selections. Services at 9:45 and 11:15 a.m. All are welcome.
