On May 13th, the Habitat for Humanity Williamsburg ReStore was lucky to have 11 volunteers all the way from Wilmington, NC. The volunteers from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington not only volunteered here at the ReStore, they assisted at a job site helping to build a home for one of our wonderful deserving families. While accumulating a total of 24 volunteer hours at the ReStore, the students built us new dollies, painted doors and prepared area rugs for sale. It is great to see young men and women with the desire to volunteer and help not only in their community but to travel so they could help in our community. We certainly hope they got the volunteering bug and continue a lifetime of giving, caring and volunteering.
