Virginia Cooperative Extension Master Gardeners offers Pruning Clinics

Do you need to prune the plants in your yard - but don't know where to start? Virginia Cooperative Extension (VCE) Master Gardeners are offering free pruning consultations in the yards of James City County and City of Williamsburg residents. During the sessions, a team of two to four VCE Master Gardeners will provide hands-on training to help homeowners maintain healthy ornamental shrubs and small trees. Two or three neighbors may request a session together at one of the homes in their neighborhood. Residents can sign up from Dec. 15, 2016 to Jan. 21, 2017 at this website: www.jccwmg.org. Pruning sessions will be scheduled in February and March. For more information, contact the Virginia Cooperative Extension James City County Office located at 3127 Forge Road, next to the new fire station in Toano or call (757) 564-2170.
