Virginia Living Museum to hold Oyster Roast Nov. 14

Enjoy all-you-can-eat fresh local Rappahannock Oysters, fried seafood, chowder, sausages, dessert buffet, craft beers, wine, rum and gin tasting, music, raffles and more at the Virginia Living Museum's fourth annual Oyster Roast, Saturday, Nov. 14 from 3 to 6 p.m.

Voted number one for Outdoor Festivals three years in a row by Coastal Virginia Magazine, this event is always a sell-out.

Food will be provided by Mathews Lions Cub and Waypoint Seafood & Grill. Dessert will be prepared by Stratford University culinary students.

Guests receive two drink tickets for craft beer, wine or hard cider. Also, Williamsburg Distillery will provide tastings of their Jamestown Gin and Yorktown Rum.

Enjoy live music by PC Duo and the LCV Project, Louis Vangieri, plus popular tracks by Colonial DJs.

All proceeds benefit the museum's award winning educational programs and animal care needs.

The Oyster Roast will be held rain or shine. It will move into the museum if inclement weather demands. The museum will close at 2 p.m. to prepare for the event.

Tickets are $45 in advance, $55 beginning Nov. 9. Age 21 and above.
