Virginia War Museum to Offer World War II Summer Kids' Camps

The Virginia War Museum will again be offering two World War II Kids' Camps this summer for children ages 8 - 12. Campers will train in squads while learning WWII infantry tactics and play out two mock battles each day. In between, the campers will learn about WWII uniforms & equipment and the Allied invasion of Italy in 1943.

The camps will be held on July 18 - 21 & August 22 - 25 and run from 9 am - 3 pm each day. Be advised, this is a physically active camp. Campers will be expected to be able to run and jump as well as play in the outdoors.

Each camp costs $200 per child. Due to their popularity, attendance is limited to 60 children per camp. Pre-registration is required, however payment is not required at time of registration.
