Walnut Hills Baptist Announces Fall Programs

Walnut Hills Baptist Church, 1014 Jamestown Road, has announced fall Bible study and worship opportunities. Sunday School and Bible study for all ages begins at 9:15 followed by worship at 10:30. On Sunday evenings, KIDZ music and Drama meets from 5-7. Youth choir starts at 5, followed by CONNECT, a time of fellowship, dinner and worship led by Rev. Graham Cheek, youth and children's minister.

A 7 week co-ed Bible study based on Max Lucado's , "You'll Get Through This" will be taught by Carol Mitchell on Mondays at 9:30 starting on Sept. 18. On Tuesdays at 9:30, Robin Joss, assisted by Gail Jenner and Marsha McAlister, will lead a ladies' 7 week study of "Steadfast Love" by Lauren Chandler.

A men's prayer group meets on Wed. at 8:30 followed by a women's Bible study led by Linda
Ward at 10:30. TeamKid, an after school program for children in grades K-5, meets at 4:15. A family meal is served at 5:30 followed by study of the book of Mark led by Dr. Jim Hunter, senior pastor. Adult choir, under the direction of Rev . John Thompson, music minister, practices at 7.

A men's Bible study of the book of John, led by Dan Gaske, meets on the 1st and 3rd Thursdays at 8. Moms Next, a support group for moms of school age children, led by Lisa Granger, meets at 9:30. Dr. Hunter will be at the Coffeehouse in Williamsburg Crossing Shopping Center on Thursdays from 9-11 for coffee and conversation.

Peninsula Chinese Baptist Church holds a Chinese dinner and Bible study for William and Mary students in the Hospitality Center on Fridays at 7. A Men's Breakfast is held on the 2nd. Sat. at 9.
