White Can Daye in Williamsburg - an opportunity to Help Lions Help Others

White Cane day is an opportunity for members of the Community Help the Lions help others. An example of how the lions assist members in the local area would be the SPOT testing that the Lions Conduct every year at all the Williamsburg elementary schools. With the aid of specialized equipment all Head Start, Kindergarten, 1st and 3rd graders are tested - at no cost. Last year the Lions tested 1,500 area students.
One thing that separated the funds donated to the Lions is that any donation you might make to the White Cane Days - 100% goes directly to assist others, there is no administrative cost taken from these funds. So, the next time you see a Lion on White cane day know that anything you might donate will be used as it was intended for - to Help Lions Help Others.
