Whoever said winning isn't everything wasn't fighting cancer - A Community Fundraiser

My name is Dianne McRoy and I am co-hosting a community fundraiser. It is being held on Saturday, January 21st 2017 from 3pm until 10pm. at Daddyo's Tavern in Norge, VA. The fundraiser whose recipient is Bobby Collier, age 57. He has been diagnosed with stage 3 colon cancer. . Bobby is currently in treatment, and recently the doctors have discovered additional concerns that have not yet been biopsied. He is no longer able to work. Bobby's sister and her husband have taken him in to care for his needs. I am a Williamsburg native and all who know me know my passion is helping others. I was contacted by the family and asked to help, and help is what I intend to do. I want to show Bobby and his family how this community comes together to show their love and support. Cancer has affected most of us either personally , or indirectly through others we love. It is personal for me as I am a six year survivor, and recently I lost my dad to this horrible disease. Our struggles are all different but they are real. Please come show your support . There will be food specials, entertainment, raffles ,a silent auction, pool tournaments and amazing fellowship. The owners of Daddyo's Tavern (Keith and CK Pritchard) who are hosting the event have graciously agreed to give a portion of the afternoon's food proceeds to the cause. They have hosted several other fundraisers as well at their restaurant with great success and we are all most appreciative of their generosity within our community. All other proceeds for the day will go directly to Bobby to help him with his treatments, medications and transportation to receive them. If anyone would like additional information or to donate items or services for raffles please contact me @ 757 879 0970 or @diannemcroy@yahoo.com I humbly and kindly thank you in advance for your support!
