D and Me Photography will offer a variety of portrait packages to choose from and pet portraits can be with or without human members of the family!
According to Rita Smith, Faith In Action's Executive Director, "We are so excited to have the new Visiting Therapy Dog Program open in early 2016. Animals alleviate loneliness, feelings of helplessness and depression. That is so important for our care receivers who may live alone and love animals but are unable to have pets of their own. We feel this will become a very popular program. We thought the Christmas Pet Portraits would be a fun way to raise awareness and funds for the brand-new program!
Williamsburg Area Faith In Action helps seniors and the disabled stay in their homes by offering services such as transportation assistance to appointments and errand running, home visits, light housekeeping, reassurance calls and more. All services are free of charge and are offered to seniors in Williamsburg, James City County and York County.
