Williamsburg Arts Council 2017 Calendar

Fifteen outstanding Williamsburg-area artists are featured in the new Williamsburg Arts Council's 2017 calendar, which also includes the time and dates for major Williamsburg visual and performing arts events in 2017. Contact information for leading Williamsburg art venues is also provided.
The artists featured in the calendar present a wide spectrum of artistic talent found among the ever-increasing Williamsburg colony of artists. Their brief bios will provide inspiration to aspiring artists of all ages.
Former William & Mary football coach, Bill Casto, now a world-famous wood carver, creates one-of-a-kind wildlife sculptures.
After retiring from the Air Force, Jenny Loveland, used the GI Bill to become an accomplished artist.
Hank Mook, a gifted paper mache artist, continues creating and teaching art at age 90.
Carolee Vitaletti, cover artist, is a regular at Busch Gardens, where she demonstrates her art.
Betty Babb, living proof that "eighty is the new sixty" continues to add dimensions to her art.
The calendar is available for $6 each at Parlett's Paper Expressions, 4309 New Town Ave.; The Williamsburg Art Gallery in Merchant's Square; The Prince George Art & Frame, Colony Square, 1303 Jamestown Road; The Williamsburg Colonial Folk Art Gallery, 110 Bacon Street; The Williamsburg Contemporary Art Center Gallery, 219 North Boundary Street; and for $7 by mail to Williamsburg Arts Council, 316 Yorkshire Drive, Williamsburg VA 23185.
