Williamsburg James City County Schools Foundation Second Annual Reception

Williamsburg, VA-The Second Annual Foundation Reception was held October 18, 2016 at Governor's Land at Two Rivers. The purpose of the reception was to honor past donors, highlight grant recipients, and ask Friends of the Foundation to consider making a gift to fund grants being awarded in January 2017. Last year, the Foundation funded 20 grants to 32 teachers, impacting 8,000 students, and totaling over $27,000. Pictured above with Clarence Wilson (President of the Foundation) is Michael Hipple (Chairman, JCC Board of Supervisors) and Paul Freiling (Mayor of the City of Williamsburg). Both were speakers during the reception. Reception was sponsored by 1st Advantage Credit Union.
