A local group of semi-retired and retired nurses known as "The Nightingales" celebrated their ten-year anniversary with a luncheon meeting at Williamsburg Landing. The group was started by retired nurses, Lana Wingate and Carol Bonesteel. They shared a simple phone call that developed into a group of fifty nurses that meet every other month. The luncheon's guest speaker was Donna Wilmoth, MSN, RN NE-BC, Vice President of Patient Care Services and Chief Nursing Executive, Sentara Williamsburg Regional Medical Center.
