Williamsburg Lions Club Join Forces with Local Hands Together Historic Triangle

In 1925, Helen Keller appealed to the Lions to become "The Knights of the Blind in the Crusade against Darkness". On Monday, March 7, members from both the Williamsburg Host Lions and the James City Lions took that challenge to heart and had the Lions Sight & Hearing Van brought to Williamsburg for use at the Historic Triangle's Hands Together event. That day, Lions volunteers worked together to provide free vision and hearing screenings to 83 people giving reading eyeglasses to 23 people and referring several more to seek a more comprehensive eye or hearing exam.
