Williamsburg Symphonia elects new Board of Trustees members

The Williamsburg Symphonia elected six new trustees at a recent board meeting. We welcome to the Board of Trustees Richard Mestler, Jon Krapfl and Michael Maddocks (seated), Ed Curran, Douglas Springmann and Jo Ann Gora (standing), actively involved citizens of the Williamsburg community and friends of the arts. The Williamsburg Symphonia's 32nd season will include two performances each of five Masterworks Concerts, conducted by Music Director Janna Hymes, returning for her 12th season on the podium. Also scheduled are four presentations of the seasonal favorite Holiday Pops and a "Cabaret & Cocktails" concert in January at the Williamsburg Lodge. The Symphonia is Williamsburg's own professional orchestra that, in addition to its classical and pops concerts, promotes music education through youth programs and outreach.
